Man I just met the most amazing woman: Georgiana. She is a Baseball Goddess. She taught me more about baseball than I've learned in 20 years of playing. I never knew there was a short cut to 3rd base.

Feliz Navidad Amigos! I know you're dying to meet Georgiana, so I'm posting a pick for you. You'll understand when I say... I've found my second love!

The team told me I can earn extra greenbacks making appearances through out the league! I'm. like, totally stoked for that. They said I'll get a chance when we go to Rio and again when we go to Cabo. Cabo Wabo, Baby!

Lima comes to town today. The guys on the team tell me they really suck. Georgiana tells me their starter today, Zima or whatever his name is, likes to hang his curve out over the plate. Lay one in Zinc Man, I, George Crocker, will take you yard!

WHOO HOOO, I told you George Crocker still had it. I was Da Man today. It just took me a few days to get in the groove. That's what Georgiana said. She is wonderful. Have I told you that? 3-3 today with a Jack. I tell you, George Crocker is BACK!!

Man Alive, that Tanton throws a straight fastball. Reminds me of that Mosley guy with the F'Heads. Knocked him silly is what I did, Yes siree! 2-3 today! Georgiana has me rockin' and rollin' at the plate these days. We win again. Look out World Baseball League, here comes the Caribs, Whoo Hooo!

Had the best dinner tonight! Georgiana took me to Bodega Marina, in the Lago, and it was the Bomb Diggity! I had these gambos that were out of this world. When the waiter found out that I was George Crocker, he bought us dinner. Georgiana thinks she's found a small hitch in my swing. Look out Lima!

Drats, rained out today, just as I was getting on a roll. Off to Rio tomorrow for our series with the Amazons. I'm trying to figure out how we play a team of girls? They're a game ahead of us in the standings. How can they be that good, throwing the ball like a bunch of girls.

Georgie Crocker 'tis da Man... Whoo Hooo... What a game! Brian Coeyman pitched a gem for us today - 3 hit shut out of those big Amazon bats, who by the way are guys! Who ever heard of male Amazons. Odd. Drove in three with my 2nd HR. Also doubled. Look forward to tonights BIG Party! Plus I get paid to go!!! WHOO HOOO. Georgiana's looking sooo hot!

DOGS! You can't even believe where I am tonight! This place is CA-Razy! I don't know who lives here - drug lords or something? (whispers - I probably shouldn't say that to loud) Any way at the beach of Joatinga in Sao Conrado. Total Awesomeness that I, George Crocker find myself speechless. Gotta find Georgiana.

I've never seen so many crazy party people in my life. Champagne flowing like no bodies business. Dude! and the girls? None as gorgeous as Georgiana, but... hot... hot.... hot! Also lots of weird stuff floating around making people act very oddly. They thought I was weird not trying any of their funky tribal stuff, but Hey, I'm George Crocker, world-class athlete and I'm not putting weird stuff in me. Especially if I can't pronounce it. Not sure how we'll play that game this evening. It's like Mardi Gras down here.

Great Party... Can't stop thinking about it. They were REALLY happy to see me, and were also pleased with the gift I brought them form the Boss; whatever it was. Rough night all around. struck out three times and missed an easy fly ball that led to a couple of runs. Very Un-George Crocker-like. Still we win as our big 1B Mouloud Daraja hit a two out 2B in the top of the 9th to drive home the game winner. Tied with Rio now for third- Yeah Baby, Yeah! Off to Uruguay for our next series. Things heating up - three games out of the playoffs.

Beach was great for mind and soul as George Crocker is set for our big game. Got to watch myself on these beaches as Georgiana don't like my wandering eyes. The Field of Wanderers, where Montevideo plays really smells - right on the sea and the tide must have been out! Jude Pew is all I have to say. And their starting pitcher Ricardo Burron was pretty stinky too; no Pedro Barron was he. 5-1 tonight for the W, and George Crocker was back on track. Only had a 1-3, but a two run double gave us the lead, so Whoo Hooo! Another party appearance after tomorrow nights game.

Cool party pad, an old Polo ranch - don't know where that Ralph Lauran guyy was, but they loved the gift the boss sent. Not many people here, but very cool place, huge paintings. SWEEP BABY! Took care of business in game one with a taut 2-1 game. I didn't have my best game, 0-3, three ground balls to third. That kind of sucked. But what can you do. I'll go 4-4 next time. Sat out the night cap, which we won 5-4 in 10 innings. Passed Rio for third ALL BY OUR LONESOMES BABY! 2.5 behind Montreal. Any truth to the rumor that Alex Poirier is playing there now.

Hit some of the sites in town before tonights game with Athens. Georgiana took me to the Republic Bank Museo del Oro. All sorts of things made of gold. Not quite sure why they called it the Republic Bank's museo or why oro. I didn't see any oro. Where was the money? I'm thinking, This would be Mark Gunter's kind of museo, money & all. Instead, masks cups, & idols? I mean, like, who makes masks out of gold?

INCREDIBLE game tonight. 1-0. Dipak Yaksha pitched a gem, holding the Gods to just 2 hits. Yours Truly went 0-3, but as you know it's all about the team, & I, George Crocker, is all about the team. George Crocker would rather see the team win than have a 3-3 night. My buddy in LF, Vitale Maffi hit a solo shot in the 5th for the winner. Dipak threw a CG and man was the crowd wild. Kept pace with Montreal.

Off day today. Think I'm just gonna stay in our apartment; YEP! our apartment - Georgiana has moved in and it's like a cheeseburger in paradise. Slice of heaven! Glad to have a day as the bat's feeling a bit heavy. The Madrid Moors come to town tomorrow. Word is their pitching is tough.

Those Madrid pitchers were tough! Held ole George Crocker to an 0-4 with 3 Ks. Can you believe that? 3 Ks? Their bullpen was even more amazing. Oh, well, as I, George Crocker, like to say, tomorrow's a brand new day!

The Moors may pitch well, but they sure can't hit! after yesterday's 2-1 loss, we beat them today 2-1. Coeyman was great for 5 innings, but the 'pen - Imai, Mathieu and Hennegan were better. George Crocker is in a slump Dudes. 0-4 again, 2 Ks. Checking in early tomorrow for extra BP with Georgiana.

Had the day off after a couple of tough games. Bummer! I was feeling it this morning. Definitely had a 4-4 game in me today. Took a 3-0 W from the Moors - poor saps, sitting in 7th place, but we've moved up to 1.5 back of Montreal. Oslo up next, and they're in first place. I hear those Vikings are like a pack of rabbits. Not sure which kind? Jack or Peter?

Volkswagon Rabbits maybe. Hard to say. Other than a couple of infield hits we didn't see much speed. Not much luck with the 1st place Vikings. Lost 6-2, but I, George Crocker, drove in both runs with a 3B, my only hit in four ABs. Lost ground to Montreal.

Had a nice morning looking at a few of the sights, especially La Cathedral, but Oslo ran us ragged: extra base, after extra base. Lost 7-1, and the beautiful morning didn't follow me to the plate - 0-4, with 3 Ks. PFFFFT....

Sitting on plane at Bogota's airport, like, bummed out. Lost again, 4-1, we got 2 hits - and none from Me, George Crocker. 0-3 today, although I did walk and steal a base. Off to Frisco. I look forward to being back in the States. Off day tomorrow. Shall see the sights. Man, now we're 3.5 games behind Montreal. WOW... Rough week.

Arrived in Frisco with the team and checked into the Fairmont Hotel. Planning a fun day. Georgiana has never been before and her favorite movie is, surprisingly, "Vertigo", so we're going on a Vertigo tour of The City. That'll be fun. Too bad the restaurant in the movie - Frisco's best one, Ernies, is closed! Pooh on that!

First stop, Fort Point, overlooking the crazy wind surfers beneath the Golden Gate Bridge. Georgiana, she's so wacky, she walked to the edge of the bay beside the Fort and jumped in. She tred water expecting Me, George Crocker, to jump in after her, but do you know how cold that water is? Freezing Dudes! Some cocky surfer dragged her out.

Stop-po Numero Two-o, Old Mission Dolores, the original outpost of Frisco. Wandered the cemetery in the back looking for ghosts; that's what Georgiana said we had to do. OBTW Boys and Girls, she's all dry now! Lots of real old dead people in this place. I have no idea why they'd shoot a movie here? Pretty boring. Maybe I should watch the movie some day!

Lunch at the Fairmont. DAMN! You should see the prices in this place. Good thing I'm getting that extra appearance bonus money! Drove down towards Monterey to Mission San Juan Bautista. Cool spot, although Georgiana wanted to jump out of the bell tower - she's acting very odd today. You should see Georgiana bust a move on the dance floor.... Oh... La... LA! Tomorrow we take on the Fog and then dinner with the Tophams. WOW! What a dump the Fog play in. Frickin' crumbling like the Roman Coliseum. No wonder this team is a middle of the pack team. 2-5 game with a run scored in a 9-7 W. GRRRREAT party last night. Glad we played a night game today. Took it to the Fog in this one, 12-3. George Crocker himself swung the bat pretty good today, 1-3 and a pair of walks. Scored a pair too. We go for the sweep tomorrow and then on to Vancouver; Going Home! Can't wait to see the ole gang out in Stanley Park. Taking Georgiana to my favorite restaurant. I got it and I'm takin' it to the 'Couv for all to behold! We're taking this wild card deal straight from Montreal... just wait and see. Only back 1.5 as they lose to Washington. Chance to take lead before getting there.

Spent an unusually warm winters day in Stanley park before our game today. The Orcas played us tough, a 4-2 win for us, but it took us 13 innings. I had a rough night, 1-4 with a K before I came out in a double switch. That's OK... Wakie Jaja with the pinch-hit 2B to score two. Need the W as Montreal beat Lisbon. Coeyman pitches tomorrow, so lets hope for a big start

Good thing they have this dome here, it's ugly outside. Almost as ugly as the curve that Orca starter Wandy Sira was throwing. We were tattooing that dookey. I sat out today's game, a 6-3 win that moves us half a game behind the Royals. We're off after tomorrow as we head to Mont Real.

Woke up this morning to see that it's snowing and -10 degrees outside! Jinkys! I guess that old Olympic Stadium is good for something, eh? Double-header today – KA-Razy!! Montreal beat up on us today in game 1, 5-1, dropping us a game back with 14 left to play. I did have one hit, stole a base and scored the run, so I did MY JOB! Geez, sometimes I wonder about this team. Their dedication, their effort. Hmmph! No Worry. I, George Crocker, will kick them into gear tomorrow. Good thing we're playing indoors - it's FREEZING outside!

Well, that lasted all of what, 18 hours? Back and forth in game 2, all night long. Their C Rheinhardt Braun homered in the bottom of the 8th to take a 9-8 lead, but we came back with 3 in the 9th and won 11-9. Wacky, wacky. 30 hits in the game and can you believe not one from George Crocker? 0-6? 3 K? What's that all about? Well, we tie them again and the rubber match is tomorrow before heading back to Bogota.

No Recovery For Bears Córdova, Retires: Claudio Córdova's baseball career is almost certainly over according to his doctors. The 31-year-old Bakersfield Bears right fielder was given the dreadful news after suffering a setback in his rehabilitation from a a torn back muscle. A Bears team official, speaking unofficially, was quoted by reporters as saying, "For all intents and purposes, his career is over."

His lifetime stats show Córdova has batted .291 and collected 939 hits, 62 home runs and 370 RBIs.”

Caribs got it rolling once again. So did I, George Crocker. Lead off dong shot in the third. RBI double in the 5th and we win 5-3. Must say, let it be known, as I go, so does George Crocker. Bogota too. Georgiana has been ill the past few days. Bummer.

Jerusalem in town next for three, and they're in last in their division. That should help as Montreal lost. Tied again, Baby! 9 games left. After the Stars, we head to Lima and then Cabo to close the season. Cabo Wabo! Can't wait to get to Senor Frogs! Let me tell you, the Chickas in Cabo? AWESOME!

(snort) That was easy. We had the regulars out of the game by the 6th. I was 3-4 with a pair of runs and ribbies. 14-2! Imagine that. The Royals lost at Paris so back in a flat tie with 8 to play. Can you spell 'excitement'? I can! E-X-C-I-T-E-mint. Hey, George Crocker wasn't the Burney Street Grade School Spelling Champ for nothin'! N-O-T-H-I-N-G. See?

Hey all you Boys and Girls and Midnight Pals, guess what? Bogota is OVER .500! WHOO HOOO!!! Wild and Crazy, eh? We took down the Stars 5-4 in a dog fight of a game. Can you say Bean Ball? They tried to nail me three times, but Me, George Crocker, is way to fast for that stuff. Take care of the ole noggin's what I always say. Best of all, Paris topped Montreal - Caribs back on top BABY!

It's like a pandemonium here in Bogota as we trounce Jerusalem 8-0 and Montreal loses again giving us a two game lead with 6 to play! WOW! I thought that first season in K-Zoo was hot! This is like Hell on Earth H-O-T, HOT! Just wait for those playoffs - I, George Crocker, was a baseball God in those 2007 playoffs for K-Zoo; Look it up!

Having breakfast with Georgiana in a quaint outdoor cafe before flying off to Lima for three games, before heading to Cabo to close the season. Haven't seen any groundhogs yet, but I'll keep looking. Set for a nice party Appearance tomorrow after the game in Lima. Also when we get to Cabo. Boy, these WBL boys really enjoy George Crocker, Party Animal at their fetes!

Five left, 2 up as we take down the Incas 4-2. What's that make our magic number? 3? Hey, I got a C in geometry back in school! Rough night for George Crocker: 3 K in 3 AB, but we've got a Big party tonight. I understand the pad is pretty awesome. I hope they're like the rest of the parties I've gone to - happy to get the bosses gifts!

What is it about these places down here? I ain't never seen any places more totally rad than where we've been partying. The antiques in this place go back to Spain - cause they speak Spanish here you know. Mighty nice folks here. They offered Me, George Crocker, and Georgiana a room here for the night. Good friends with the folks in Cabo; asked me to deliver a gift to them.

What a night! Great party. Fantastic vino and camisole, that's Spanish for food you know. Warm, comfy bed. They treated Me, George Crocker, like a reina. That's King for all you Spainiophobics. Any way, chance tonight to all but clinch it. Montreal is struggling and up in Oslo. Let's Go Caribs. Yeah Baby!

Rare day game in the WBL today, which did not do us well. Like we're a bunch of vampires or something, allergic to the sun. Lost 5-1 & George Crocker had a horrific day: 0-4 with a K. Never really made solid contact. Hey, That's all cool. Saving it for the Mahi Mahi when we get to Cabo Wabo. Lose a game to Montreal, too, Up 1, 4 to play! I'm telling you, just wait - we're going to explode in the playoffss!

Had a great late afternoon picnic at Miraflores beach. Miraflores, that's lots of flowers in Spanish you know. Looking forward to the last home game of the season and the last road trip. Cabo's such a fun place to be. I remember going there before being drafted by K-Zoo, and George Crocker tore that town up! Georgiana looks so hot in the setting sun here on the beach.

Well, that's just no good. I, George Crocker, says so. A brutally ugly loss in extra's, 6-5 sends us to Cabo with a 80-79 record and a game up. We better bring our 'A' game to Mexico. George Crocker intends to see that that happens. Busy packing for the trip and planning to continue to Osaka - our playoff opponent. Looking forward to a brew at the new Pub at Hyakujuu

Sitting on the tarmac; what the hell is a tarmac anyway? Just texted the good news to Mark-o. When are we going to take off? Don't they know that George Crocker needs to get to Cabo Wabo? Georgiana took a sleeping pill and is sleeping like a babe; a sexy babe that is!

Ain't life grand? Chillin' on a roof top, here's the view. Man you have no idea how much they love me in Mexico. My picture is like on every wall! Not sure how I'm making it back to Aurora in time for the Season Opener - I hear home opener is BAK on 4/12. I got two months. Long walk.

Spring Training is around the corner. Man I miss that. So much fun, but after Bogota, teams will screaming for George Crocker's services!

They assure me that there will be No Problemo getting on a boat to the states. They're not saying where, but do I care? HEY! That Rhymes! George Crocker, Poet Master!

That was close. Freakin' Pirates! I don't know how we got out of that mess, but I just 'bout peed my pants... Actually, maybe I did! Any Whose It, these guys meant business, and if they knew I, George Crocker, was on the boat, I might be... gone! They took something from the boat, but who knows what.

Finally pulled myself out of my apartment here on the boat to look around. I don't know why it's taking so long to get to Frisco, but as I look about I don't think I'm in Kansas anymore, Toto! Mexico or Cali either! Where in the world am I? I've got a bad feeling about this...

Well Gollllll-lee, if I didn't know better I'd say I was in Tie Land. How in the world did that happen? Nah... Maybe I'm just dreaming. I has this dream once were I, George Crocker, was in this exotic space ship, and we landed in some place like India, you know, where that big white building is? That's it. This is just a dream!

I think I've been trickstered. These dudes, they kept chanting, "USA", "USA" and all this time I, George Crocker, thought they were taking me to the US, but now I see they didn't take me home, they took me to Japan! What's that all about? I mean, George Crocker don't speak Japanish. I don't even like Japanushi!
